PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The AS, Automatic Safety strap, is a fully automatic device designed to lock the mold and prevent from accidentally opening during transportation or handling.
Available in 3 different sizes for molds up to 10, 20 and 30 tons.
The AS is adaptable to different mold types.
Especially useful in plants with several mold changes, as they are designed to improve the safety and speed of mold changes.
MAIN FEATURES/ADVANTAGES:
While the mold is in the warehouse, it is kept perfectly closed and safe.
Once the mold is installed back into the injection machine, the strap is automatically released, and production can start running without any further intervention.
Helps to prevent accidents caused by mold halves separating, as consequence of unsecure or inaccurate conventional straps.
On the top surface of the Safety Strap, there is security cover over the setting screw, which is not to be removed during mold handling, but allows access to the screw for repair and mold maintenance only.
